Meet Julie
Julie was born and raised in Minnesota where she graduated from Moorhead State University with a degree in physical education and health. A Thanksgiving trip in 1978 to Snowmass Village, with a college girlfriend, quickly turned into a winters long stay. Her plans to depart at seasons end had changed, as she had fallen in love with Aspen and its friendly, mountain town feel. With the cold Midwest weather behind her, Julie became excited to build a life where she could enjoy the outdoors in beautiful, sunny weather year-round. Once she began selling real estate 35 years ago, helping other people enjoy the Aspen lifestyle became a life-long passion.
Prior to her real estate career, Julie worked in Marketing and Group sales at Coates, Reid and Waldron in Aspen, a long-time real estate sales and rental company. Along with marketing efforts, Julie brought in large ski groups and conference attendees to visit the area. She later became a Real Estate assistant at Mason and Morse, which quickly led to her successful career in real estate.
Today, Julie specializes in luxury homes and land transactions. Her involvement with assisting local real estate developers has proven her to being one of the best in the business. Julie’s top source of clients is repeat business and referrals. She prides herself on offering a personal touch and a dedication by assisting her clients with their pursuits before, during and after a closing. Helping new homeowners transition to the Aspen life is a true joy. That, combined with Julie’s longevity in the local real estate community has rewarded her with longstanding success and production as a broker, for which she is very grateful.
Outside of real estate, Julie is actively involved at her church. Every spring, she and her daughter Sophia volunteer at the National Disabled Veteran’s Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass. Julie also volunteers on the District Accountability Committee for the Aspen School District and is on The Holy Cross Energy Round Up Board of Directors, which funds charitable projects Valleywide.
Julie continues to love Aspen’s cultural lifestyle along with snow skiing, hiking and biking. Raising a family in Aspen is active and rewarding. An occasional family trip to her Minnesota hometown lakes for some winter ice fishing or a summertime water ski trip, keeps her close to her Minnesota roots.
